Welcome!
I am Fall 2020 graduate of the Auburn University Graduate School dual-degree Master of Public Administration and Master of Community Planning program. I completed my undergraduate degree in the fall of 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration. In August 2020, I accepted a position as a Planning and Economic Development Planning Specialist for Lee-Russell Council of Governments. In this role, I am able to use my background in Public Administration and Community Planning to serve the community in Lee and Russell Counties. This position has allowed me to enter the public service workforce and work in a field that I am passionate about - a field where working with local governments and citizens to better their quality of life is the norm. It is my goal to stay in the public sector workforce, so that I can make a positive impact on my community. |
My Public Service Philosophy:
"By engaging citizens, we can make the best decisions possible for their community. We should always keep the people we’re planning for in mind at all times – the people who will live with the choices we make in their everyday lives."
